BiciGo ("we", "our", "us") operates the BiciGo mobile application. BiciGo is a local-first app: your data lives on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
BiciGo stores everything locally on your device. We do not operate servers and we do not collect or receive your data. • Ride data you enter (distance, duration, optional notes and dates) • Your preferences (an optional display name, daily goal, and units) • Streak and statistics derived from your rides • With your permission, cycling workout data read from Apple Health (see below) We do NOT collect your email, location, contacts, or any account information. BiciGo has no login and no analytics servers.
BiciGo can connect to Apple Health to make logging effortless. What we read: With your explicit permission, BiciGo reads your Cycling Workouts and Cycling Distance from Apple Health. How it is used: This data is used only to automatically create ride entries inside BiciGo and to calculate your streak and statistics. All of this happens on your device. What we do NOT do: We do not use Health data for advertising or marketing, we do not use it for any kind of data mining, we never sell it, and we never transmit it off your device or share it with any third party. Writing data: BiciGo only reads from Apple Health. It does not write any data back to Apple Health. Your control: You can revoke BiciGo's access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → BiciGo, or by turning off auto-sync in the app's Profile screen.
• All app data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. • Nothing is uploaded to us or to any cloud service. • Your data persists until you delete it (Profile → Reset all data) or uninstall the app. • Because data is local, it is not backed up by us. If you delete the app, manually entered rides are removed. Rides imported from Apple Health can be re-imported by reconnecting Apple Health.
BiciGo is intentionally minimal: • Apple HealthKit — provides cycling workout data on your device, with your permission. Governed by Apple's privacy policy. • Apple App Store — used to distribute the app. • Expo / React Native — the open-source framework the app is built with. We do not integrate advertising SDKs and we do not share your data with third parties.
You can: • Revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings or in the app • Delete all your data in-app (Profile → Reset all data) • Uninstall the app to remove all local data • Contact us with any questions about your data Because we don't store your information on any server, your data exists only on your device.
BiciGo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy within the app and update the "Last updated" date. Changes are effective upon posting.
